Out With The Old, In With The "Blue"

Not used to wearing all white? Walk down the aisle in style with some cute shoes that add fun to your wedding day wardrobe. Hey… you need “something blue” anyway, right?

I like online shopping sites such as, www.zappos.com because they have a large selection that is hard to find elsewhere. Plus, clicking search filters beats hours of walking around through mall crowds, anyday!

This specific pair, designed by Benjamin Walk is called “Touch Ups Peacock”.

Why is it customary for the bride to wear something blue?

Brides in ancient Israel wore a blue ribbon on the border of their fringed robes to denote modesty, fidelity, and love - ideals still associated with that color. Blue is also the color that represents the purity and innocence of the Virgin Mary.
