A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to assist another event planner at The Globe Theater at Universal City Walk. The event was a staff dinner for hospital staff. The cocktail hour took place on Barker Street which is right in front of the theater. Here is an example of how to think outside the box when planning your next event. Being from a corporate background myself when you work all day in an familiar environment, you look forward to a different atmosphere. If you ever want to leave your guest wondering what you are planning for next year, make a change this year and think outside the box.
