DO get enough sleep. You'll be on your feet through most of your exciting and demanding wedding day with greeting, mingling and dancing.
DO take time to visualize each step of the day beforehand. This will calm you and give you a chance to anticipate any hitches.
DO leave enough time to bathe, dress and reminisce with family. Take time to talk privately with your parents and tell them that you appreciate all that they've done for you.
DON'T bring along too many personal items to the ceremony; you'll just worry about them.
DO have a small meal or a snack of cheese or fruit before you leave for the ceremony. Don't risk feeling faint at the altar.
DO snap a few photos of the last hours at home.
DON'T panic if you fall behind schedule. The ceremony will wait for you. Remain flexible and calm. Guests want to see you smile. Looking and feeling your best is more important than starting on the dot.
